Engine Identification: Notes
All models use same engine (except for differences in exhaust manifolds, oil pans, air cleaners, and placement of accessories). Engine year model can be identified by number stamped on block behind intake manifold and on cowl bar visible from outside car through windshield at lower left corner. An "L.C." stamped behind identification number on block means engine is designed for low compression to accept low octane fuels.
