Circuit/System Description

The left body antenna is located on the driver side of the vehicle and is used to establish low frequency communications with the keyless entry transmitter. As a vehicle with locked doors is approached with a keyless entry transmitter and the exterior door handle button or door handle touch pad is pressed, the body control module communicates with the left body antenna.
