Installation Procedure

  1. Fill the power transfer unit to the bottom of the power transfer unit fill plug hole with the recommended fluid. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers , and Approximate Fluid Capacities 
  2. Power Transfer Unit Fill Plug (1) @Power Transfer Unit Case - Install and tighten40 N.m (30 lb ft)

  3. Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield - Install - Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield Replacement
