Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Intake Manifold (1) - Remove - Intake Manifold Replacement
- Accessory Drive Primary Belt - Remove - Accessory Drive Primary Belt Replacement
- Drive Belt Tensioner Bolt (1) - LoosenNOTE:
Do not need to remove the tensioner completely.
- Reposition the drive belt tensioner (2) to remove the generator bolt.
- Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @Generator - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
- Generator Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Generator (2) - Remove
