Installation Procedure

  1. Fill the power transfer unit to the bottom of the power transfer unit fill plug hole with the recommended fluid. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers , and Approximate Fluid Capacities

    Component Fastener Tightening Caution

    Power Transfer Unit Fill Plug (1) @ Power Transfer Unit Case - Install and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

  3. Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield - Install - Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield Replacement
