Circuit/System Description

The power steering system contains redundant torque and steering angle sensors in order to limit situations where total loss of assist occur. If a malfunction occurs in only one of the two sensors, the power steering system will continue to provide steering assist. If a malfunction occurs in both sensors, the power steering system will have no steering assist.
