Disconnect the instrument panel airbag electrical connector from the instrument panel harness. (1)
- Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (2) - Remove [ 3x ]
Release the locator stud and tie bar bracket tab (1) on the left side of the instrument panel.
Release the locator stud and tie bar bracket tab (1) on the right side of the instrument panel.
Instrument Panel (1) - Remove
- Note the location and routing of the wiring harness to ensure proper reinstallation.
- With the aid of an assistant, lift the instrument panel (1) rearward and upward from the instrument panel tie bar.
