Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right wheel drive shaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (MHG, M3T with F46) , and Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (MHG without F46) .
  2. Remove the exhaust front pipe. Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LCV) , and Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LTG) .
  3. Fig 1: Identifying Transfer Case Bracket And Bolts

    Remove the transfer case bracket-to-transfer case bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

  4. Remove the bracket (6).
