Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Reposition the engine control module bracket with the engine control module attached. Engine Control Module Bracket Replacement

    Retainer(1) - Disengage

  4. Fuse Block Cover(2) - Open

    Remove the 2 6mm fuse block wiring harness terminals and nuts (1).

    Remove the 2 8mm fuse block wiring harness terminals and nuts (1).

    Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut(1) - Loosen

  8. Retainer(2) - Disengage

    Retaining Tab(1) - Disengage[2x]

  10. Fuse Block(2) - Reposition away

    Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (2) - Remove

  12. Battery Hold Down Retainer(1) - Remove
  13. Battery Hold Down Bolt(3) - Remove
  14. Battery Hold Down Retainer(4) - Remove

    Battery(1) - Remove
