Installation Procedure

    Position a NEW intermediate steering shaft outer boot clamp (1) onto the intermediate steering shaft outer boot.

  2. Position the intermediate steering shaft outer boot (1) on the intermediate shaft through the pass through.
  3. Slide the intermediate steering shaft outer boot (1) downwards and onto the steering gear.
  4. Use the CH-804  Drive Axle Boot Clamp Pliers (1) to install the NEW intermediate steering shaft outer boot clamp.
  5. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  6. Install the inner intermediate steering shaft boot. Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot Replacement (Outer)
