Installation Procedure

    Engine Control Module Bracket (3) - Install

  2. Engine Control Module (2) - Install
    3. NOTE:

    There must be a noticeable click noise.

  3. Engine Control Module Cover (3) - Install

    Install the engine control module along with the engine control module bracket (1).

  5. Check that the engine control module bracket is seated correctly in the battery tray bracket (3).
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install

    8. CAUTION:

    In order to prevent any possible electrostatic discharge damage to the ECM, do not touch the connector pins.

  8. Electrical Connector (2) @ Engine Control Module - Connect & Close
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (2.0L LTG)
  10. Program the ECM. Control Module References
