Removal Procedure
- Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Access Hole Cover Latch (1) - Slide Open
- Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Access Hole Cover (2) - Open
- WARNING:
Before servicing any electrical component, the ignition key must be in the OFF or LOCK position and all electrical loads must be OFF, unless instructed otherwise in these procedures. If a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with a live exposed electrical terminal, also disconnect the negative battery cable. Failure to follow these precautions may cause personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.
Place a suitable open ended wrench on the battery sensor terminal, to prevent damage to the battery sensor. (2)
- Battery Negative Cable Nut (1) - Remove
- Battery Negative Cable (4) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
Battery Post Negative Cable Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen
- Battery Monitor Module (2) - Remove
