Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:
  • DTC P15F6 is an informational DTC.
  • Diagnose all other K20 Engine Control Module DTCs prior to DTC P15F6.
  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify no other DTCs are set.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set 
  3. Complete the diagnosis by looking for an intermittent serial data circuit fault. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with High Speed GMLAN Device .
    • If an intermittent serial data circuit fault is found 

      Repair as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If an intermittent serial circuit fault is not found 
  4. Clear DTCs and operate the vehicle in the conditions that the customer experienced.
  5. Verify DTC P15F6 is not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Replace the component: K109 Frontview Camera Module

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  6. All OK.
