Installation Procedure

  1. Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Without KEM) , or Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Replacement (With KEM) - Install

    With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument carrier in the vehicle. (1)

  3. Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument carrier.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Carrier Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

    Communication Interface Module Battery Replacement (2) - Install

    NOTE:

    Do not install the components in the preliminary procedures. Those procedures will be covered later.

    Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement (1) - Install

    Do not install the instrument panel trim plate. It will be installed with the instrument panel upper trim panel procedure.

    Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control Replacement (1) - Install

    Do not install the instrument panel trim pad. It will be installed with the instrument panel compartment procedure.

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bezel Replacement (Center) (2) - Install

    Radio Front Speaker Replacement (2) - Install [2x]

    NOTE:

    Do not install the instrument panel pad. It will be installed with the instrument panel compartment procedure. Do not install the steering column upper trim cover. It will be installed with the steering column procedure.
