Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Perform the scan tool control function: Child Security Lock Motors - On

    Verify the correct operation:

    • Interior Door Handle @ Left Rear Door - Disabled
    • Interior Door Handle @ Right Rear Door - Disabled
    • If none of the components work properly 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the component works as specified 
  3. Perform the scan tool control function: Child Security Lock Motors - Off

    Verify the correct operation:

    • Interior Door Handle @ Left Rear Door - Enabled
    • Interior Door Handle @ Right Rear Door - Enabled
    • If none of the components work properly 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the component works as specified 
  4. All OK.
