Circuit/System Description

The power liftgate system is a standard liftgate that has an added electric motor, a spindle drive arm, an electric latch/cinch system and an optional handsfree liftgate release system.The liftgate can be either manually or power opened and closed.Power opening or closing of the liftgate can be done through the interior liftgate switch, pushing either the open or close switch at the liftgate, pressing open or close buttons on the keyless entry transmitter or the motion of a foot under the rear fascia.The powered liftgate function can be disabled using the interior liftgate on/off control switch.
