Transfer Case Adapter Disassemble

Procedure

1. Install the DT 50839 onto the adapter and over the bushing.
2. Install the CH 50342 threaded rod through the bushing and DT 50839.
3. Install the CH 50342 washers, nuts, and bearing onto the rod. Install the bearing onto the rod at the end closest to the DT 50839.
4. Tighten the nuts until snug.
5. Hold the flat on the threaded rod and rotate the top nut to remove the bushing from the bore of the adapter.
