Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Maneuver the steering column lower trim cover around the steering column tilt and telescoping lever as necessary.

    Position the steering column lower trim cover (2) on the steering column.

    2. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution .

  2. Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
  3. Turn the steering wheel approximately 90 degrees to the left of the centered position.

    Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  5. Turn the steering wheel approximately 90 degrees to the right of the centered position.

    Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

    Install the steering column upper trim cover (1) to the steering column lower trim cover.

  8. Turn the steering wheel to the centered position.
