Installation Procedure

    Position the bracket (6) to the transfer case.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the transfer case-to-transmission bolts (2, 3) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the transfer case-to-transmission bolt (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  4. Install the transfer case-to-transmission bolt (4, 5) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
  5. Install the right wheel drive shaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (MHG, M2D With F46)Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (MHG, M2D Without F46) .
  6. Install the exhaust front pipe. Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LTG)Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LCV) .
