Installation Procedure

    Retainer (1) - Engage [4x]

  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    NOTE:

    Anti-rotation tab is in the 12 o'clock position (arrow).

    Battery Positive Cable (3) - Install

    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Generator Nut (2) - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  5. Protective Cap (1) - Install

    Battery Positive Cable (1) - Install

  7. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @ Starter Solenoid (3) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  8. Lower the vehicle.

    Battery Negative Cable (1) - Install

  10. Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (2) - Install and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

    Battery Negative Cable (1) - Install

  12. Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (2) @ Upper Tie Bar Support Stud - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Battery Positive Cable (3) - Install

  14. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  15. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (1) - Close
  16. Radiator Inlet Hose @ Water Outlet - Install - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG)
  17. Heater Inlet Hose @ Water Outlet - Install - Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG)
  18. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
