Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LCV)

    Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (1) - Open

  4. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
  5. Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove

    Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (2) @ Upper Tie Bar Support Stud - Remove

  7. Battery Negative Cable (1) - Remove

    Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (3) - Remove

  9. Battery Negative Cable (1) - Remove
  10. Retainer (2) - Disengage [2x]

    Retainer (1) - Disengage [4x]

  12. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @ Starter Solenoid (3) - Remove

  14. Battery Positive Cable (1) - Remove

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove

  16. Battery Positive Cable (2) @ Generator (3) - Remove
  17. Lower the vehicle.
