Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON
Engine running, accessories OFF
Test for 12.6 - 15.0 V between the battery positive terminal and negative terminal.
- If not within 12.6 - 15.0 V
  Refer to Charging System Test .
- Go to next step: If within 12.6 - 15.0 V
Verify the scan tool BCM Battery Voltage parameter is within a value of 2 V of the battery terminal voltage.
- If not within a value of 2 V
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If within a value of 2 V
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
All OK.
