Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) 
  2. Communication Interface Module Replacement (Chevrolet)Communication Interface Module Replacement (Buick)
1 Multifunction Power Supply Converter

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Disengage tabs to remove from bracket.
  3. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) 
  4. Control Module References for programming and set up information, if required.
