Preliminary Procedure It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those steps in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
1	Mobile Telephone Microphone Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Depress three tabs to release the microphone from the grille. NOTE: If installing a new microphone, ensure the arrow on the backplate is facing forward in vehicle position and make the key opening larger to support the larger key.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Depress three tabs to release the microphone from the grille.

NOTE:

If installing a new microphone, ensure the arrow on the backplate is facing forward in vehicle position and make the key opening larger to support the larger key.
