Installation Procedure

  1. Electrical Connector 1 - Connect
  2. Install the starter. 2

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Starter Mounting Bolt 1 - Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  4. Battery Positive Cable 2 - Install
  5. Starter Solenoid Cable Nut 1 - Install and tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
  6. Battery Positive Cable Conduit Fastener 3 - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  8. Starter Heat Shield 2 - Install - Starter Shield Replacement 
  9. Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter- Bank 2 - Install - THREE-WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACEMENT
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
