Installation Procedure

  1. Position the intermediate steering shaft (1) in the vehicle.
    2. Fig 2: Intermediate Steering Shaft Lower Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install and tighten Intermediate Steering Shaft Lower Bolt (1) to 49 N.m (36 lb ft)

  3. Install and tighten Intermediate Steering Shaft Upper Bolt (1) to 49 N.m (36 lb ft)
  4. Install Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator-Left Side. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side
