Removal Procedure

Remove Lower Control Arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement

Vertically drill a hole through the rivet (1) using a 5 mm (0.197 in) diameter drill bit.

Enlarge the pre-drilled hole (1) using a 8 mm (0.315 in) drill bit.
Remove the rivet head of each rivet using a flat chisel.
Remove the remaining piece of each rivet using a punch.
