Preliminary Procedure Remove the inside rearview mirror wiring harness covers. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Wiring Harness Upper Cover Replacement , and Inside Rearview Mirror Wiring Harness Lower Cover Replacement .
1	Inside Rearview Mirror Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped. Adjust the mirror to the full upward position. Loosen the set screw located at the base of the mirror. Slide the mirror upward off of the rearview mirror button. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information, if required. Tighten 2 N.m (18 lb in)

Inside Rearview Mirror Fastener

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.
Adjust the mirror to the full upward position.
Loosen the set screw located at the base of the mirror.
Slide the mirror upward off of the rearview mirror button.
Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information, if required.

Tighten
2 N.m (18 lb in)
