Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    WARNING: Refer to Brake Dust Warning .
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .
  4. Remove the front brake shield (1).
