Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning

WARNING:

Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning

NOTE:

Replace the noise cancelling foam component if it is exposed to and has absorbed automotive fluids.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Engine Sight Shield Replacement - Remove
    3. Fig 1: Fuel Feed Front Pipe At Fuel Injection Pump

  3. Fuel Feed Front Pipe (2) @ Fuel Injection Pump (3) - Disconnect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  4. Clip (1) - Remove

  5. Fuel Feed Front Pipe (2) @ Fuel Feed Pipe (1) - Disconnect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  6. Fuel Feed Front Pipe (2) - Remove
