Quarter Window Adjustment

Refer to Express Window Down Warning .

NOTE:

Check the condition of the sealing of quarter window regulator adjustment stud before performing the adjustment.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. In case that the side windows of one complete side, or all side windows do not match, please check first folding top position. Refer to Folding Top Adjustment (With BO-51074-NA Remove/Install and Adjustment Set)Folding Top Adjustment (Without BO-51074-NA Remove/Install and Adjustment Set) .
  2. Remove the quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
1 Quarter Window Setting Bolt (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

2 Quarter Window Regulator Nut
3 Quarter Window Regulator Adjustment Stud

Procedure

  1. Loosen the quarter window regulator adjustment stud.
  2. Start the engine to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required in order to fully seat the window for adjustment.
  3. Using the power window switch, raise the window to the full up position.
  4. Adjust the quarter window regulator adjustment stud (+10 mm /-8 mm) and the 3 setting nuts (5 mm) in correct position to body and quarter window frame in the folding top.
  5. Counter the quarter window regulator nut to quarter window regulator adjustment stud and body.
  6. Counter the 3 setting nuts.
  7. Inspect for proper window operation and a tight seal.
  8. Turn off the engine.
  9. Check the quarter window adjustment. Refer to Front Side Door Window and Quarter Window Alignment Measurement .
NOTE:

Adjust the quarter window in correct position to front side door window and quarter window frame in the folding top.
