Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 12 and the ground circuit terminal 15.
    • If not infinite resistance 

      Replace the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.

    • If infinite resistance 
  3. Test for less than 10Ω between the signal terminal 12 and the ground circuit terminal 15.
    • If not less than 10Ω  

      Replace the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.

    • If less than 10Ω 
  4. All OK
