Heater Core Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove heater core cover. Refer to Heater Core Cover Replacement . Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) . Place protective coverings and appropriate drain pans below heater core to protect the carpeting.
1	Heater Core Clamp (Qty: 2)
2	Heater Core Procedure Remove the inlet and outlet pipes from the core and reposition enough to allow the heater core to clear. Change sealing washers.

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
Place protective coverings and appropriate drain pans below heater core to protect the carpeting.

Procedure

Remove the inlet and outlet pipes from the core and reposition enough to allow the heater core to clear.
Change sealing washers.
