A vehicle operator may have the ability to perform some of the keyless entry functions using applications on personal devices such as, but not limited to, smart phones. Unknown activations may appear to a vehicle operator as if there is a malfunction in the vehicle. If a condition cannot be determined through normal vehicle diagnostics and unknown keyless entry activation through OnStar® Remote Link is suspected, contact Technical Assistance.
