Circuit/System Verification

Ignition OFF, gear shift selector in PARK, ignition ON.
Verify that S39 Ignition Switch can be rotated to the ON position.
- If the ignition switch cannot be rotated to the ON position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has NOT been performed
  Refer to Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder .
- If the ignition switch can not be rotated to the ON position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has been performed
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If the ignition switch can be rotated to the ON position
Ignition ON, gear shift selector in NEUTRAL, ignition OFF.
Verify that the S39 Ignition Switch cannot be rotated to the LOCK position.
- If the ignition switch can be rotated to the LOCK position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has NOT been performed
  Refer to Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder .
- If the ignition switch can be rotated to the LOCK position and Ignition Key Cannot Be Inserted, Rotated or Removed from the Ignition Lock Cylinder has been performed
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If the ignition switch cannot be rotated to the LOCK position
All OK.
