WARNING: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury. CAUTION: Refer to Paint Damage Caution . Preliminary Procedure Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement . Remove the front side door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement . Remove the front side door window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Window Guide Retainer Clip (Qty: 2) Procedures Apply masking tape to the outer applique and frame. Position the window approximately half way down into the door. Remove the front door water deflector. Using the appropriate tool, spread the window guide retainer clips open releasing the window. Grasp the top edge of the window, tilt the window downward in the front, pull up on the back and lift it out of the frame.
2	Front Side Door Window Procedures Window regulator motor programming and set-up. Refer to Window Motor Programming - Express Function . NOTE: Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the trim panel.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement .
Remove the front side door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
Remove the front side door window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .

Front Side Door Window Guide Retainer Clip (Qty: 2)

Procedures

Apply masking tape to the outer applique and frame.
Position the window approximately half way down into the door.
Remove the front door water deflector.
Using the appropriate tool, spread the window guide retainer clips open releasing the window. Grasp the top edge of the window, tilt the window downward in the front, pull up on the back and lift it out of the frame.
