Navigation Radio Clock Set Procedure

NOTE:

The navigation radio requires a GPS signal to sync the clock in the vehicle. To correctly set the clock after navigation radio replacement and programming is completed, perform the following to avoid future misdiagnosis:

  1. Move the vehicle outside with a clear view of the sky.
  2. Using the radio controls, select the navigation full map display screen.
  3. Verify that the "No GPS" Icon is not present on the top of the full map screen.
  4. After the GPS signal is confirmed, adjust the time on the radio Time Setting screen.
  5. Vehicle OFF, wait at least 5 minutes.
  6. Ignition ON, radio ON confirm that the time was saved.
