Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
- Wrap the control arm with a shop towel and place it in a vise.
- Using the J 41211 , remove the control arm bushing from the lower control arm. See Special Tools .
- Disassemble the tools and remove the bushing.
IMPORTANT:
Note the depth and orientation of the old bushing before removal.
