Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement .
  3. Wrap the control arm with a shop towel and place it in a vise.

    IMPORTANT: Note the depth and orientation of the old bushing before removal.
  5. Using the J 41211  , remove the control arm bushing from the lower control arm. See Special Tools .
  6. Disassemble the tools and remove the bushing.
