Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, remove the ignition key, open the driver door and disconnect the scan tool.
  2. Disconnect the X1 harness connector at the K41R Rear Parking Assist Control Module.
  3. Test for less than 5 Ω between the ground circuit terminal 7 and ground.
    • If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
  4. Verify that the test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 1 X1 at the K41R Rear Parking Assist Control Module and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the control circuit for an open/high resistance. If all circuits test normal, replace the K41R Rear Parking Assist Control Module.
  5. If all circuits test normal, replace the K41R Rear Parking Assist Control Module.
