Diagnostic Aids

- The purpose of this diagnostic is to determine the cause of the navigation system not operating or error messages related to accessing the map database SD card.
- If the vehicle concern is related to the auxiliary audio inputs only (auxiliary jack or USB), refer to Auxiliary Audio Input Malfunction (without SD Card Reader) , Auxiliary Audio Input Malfunction (with SD Card Reader) .
- The map data provided with the vehicle is the most up to date information available when the vehicle was produced. The map data is updated periodically, provided that the map information has changed. If the navigation system is operating, but the concern is related to map content/accuracy, refer to the GM Nav Disc center website, www.gmnavdisc.com.
