Circuit/System Verification

Verify no DTCs are present.
- If any DTCs are present, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
Inspect the card reader for damage.
- If damage is noted, replace the card reader.
Verify the map database SD card is fully inserted into the SD card reader slot.
Ignition ON, radio ON, select navigation using the radio controls. Verify the system switches to navigation and map data is available.
- If the navigation system is unable to access the map data, refer to Circuit/System Testing below.
- If the navigation system functions, but the no GPS symbol/message is displayed continuously, refer to No Global Positioning System (GPS) Reception .
