Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector X1 at the K73 telematics communication interface control module.
  2. Test for greater than 15.5 V between terminals 13 and 14.
    • If less than specified value, test the B+ circuit and low reference circuit for an open/high resistance, short to ground or short to voltage. If the circuits test normal, replace the backup power source.
  3. If all circuits test normal, replace the K73 telematics communication interface control module.
