Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that the vehicle appears in the list of available devices when performing the discovery/search operation on a Bluetooth test tool or equivalent.
    • If the vehicle does not appear in the list of available devices after repeated attempts 
    1. Ignition OFF.
    2. Replace the T4S Bluetooth Antenna.
    3. Verify that the vehicle appears in the list of available devices when performing the discover/search operation on a Bluetooth test tool or equivalent.
      • If the vehicle does not appear in the list of available devices after repeated attempts, replace the K73 telematics communication interface control module
      • If the vehicle appears in the list of available devices
    4. All OK.
    • If the vehicle appears in the list of available devices 
  3. Verify successful pairing with test tool when utilizing instructions provided in the Vehicle Owners Manual.
    • If pairing is not successful after repeated attempts 

      Replace the K73 telematics communication interface control module

    • If pairing is successful 
  4. All OK.
