Preliminary Procedure: Remove the rear compartment floor panel rail. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Rail Replacement .
1	Rear End Trim Finish Panel Fastener (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Lift the storage compartment lid. Remove the foam over the spare tire, if equipped. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the clips and remove the sill plate. Tighten: 1 N.m (8 lb in)

Rear End Trim Finish Panel Fastener (Qty: 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Lift the storage compartment lid.
Remove the foam over the spare tire, if equipped.
Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the clips and remove the sill plate.

Tighten: 1 N.m (8 lb in)
