Repair Procedures
NOTE:
A new converter with less than 100 miles on it may set DTC P0420 due to out-gassing of the internal matting. Operating the vehicle at highway speeds for approximately 1 hour may correct the condition.
- Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left Side (LD8) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left Side (LZ9 or LGD)
- Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LD8) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LZ9 or LGD)
- Catalytic Converter Replacement (V8)
- Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Replacement
- Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 Replacement
- Exhaust Leakage
- Restricted Exhaust
