Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: You must perform the new body control module (BCM) setup when replacing the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Programming and Setup .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the console accessory wiring junction block. Refer to Console Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement .

  3. Rotate the BCM retaining lever (1) to release the BCM from the console accessory wiring junction block.
  4. Remove the BCM (2) from the console accessory wiring junction block.
