Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the coolant temperature sensor.
Tighten: Tighten the sensor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

Install the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
Inspect and fill the cooling system as necessary. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill) in Engine Cooling.
