Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector (2).
  2. Install the lower HUD module (3) into the I/P.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the fasteners (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the I/P upper trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (w/o HUD)  or Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (with HUD) .
  5. Install the windshield defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement (w/o HUD)  or Defroster Grille Replacement (with HUD) .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in SIR.
