Installation Procedure

  1. Install the belt retractor into the T-slot in the center pillar.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the seat belt retractor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).

  3. Install the intermediate guide bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the intermediate guide bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Position the guide loop to the guide adjuster bracket.
  5. Install the guide loop nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the guide loop nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  6. Install the lower center pillar trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the upper center pillar trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
