Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transaxle brace.
  2. Hand start the bolts to the engine and to the transaxle.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in CAUTIONS AND NOTICES .
  3. Install the transaxle brace bolts to the transaxle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the transaxle brace bolts to the transaxle to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  4. Install the transaxle brace bolts to the engine.

    Tighten:  Tighten the transaxle brace bolts to the engine to 63 N.m (46 lb ft).

  5. Install the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
